Darlene Love no Paramount Theatre

Darlene Love e Steven Van Zandt fizeram o lançamento do novo CD da cantora, sábado (12), no Paramount Theatre, em Asbury Park, New Jersey.

As novidades ganharam destaque na primeira parte do show. Entre elas músicas escritas por grandes compositores como Jimmy Webb, Elvis Costello e Bruce Springsteen, que contribuiu para o novo trabalho da cantora com duas canções: Just Another Lonely Mile e Night Closing in. Os finalmentes ficaram por conta dos grandes hits "He's a Rebel", "The Boy I’m Gonna Marry" e "Da Doo Ron Ron".

Com 74 anos, Darlene ainda tem a mesma voz intacta dos anos 60 e prova disso é o single "Forbidden Nights", que ganhou até videoclipe. Além da voz e da bagagem musical, Love ainda possui um carisma enorme em cima do palco, que a credencia como a grande estrela que é.
